Kynar PVDF/HMWPE Cable Cathodic protection cable is a stranded copper conductor with a dual insualtion construction. The inner insulation is compsed of Kynar, a fluoropolymer material that has exceptional chemical resistance in the presents of chlorine, sulfuric acid, and hydrochloric acid. The outer insulation is black high molecular weight polyethylene ( HMWPE ) compound that provides superior dielectric and tensile strength, mechanical protection and can withstand considerable abuse during installation Application: Suitable for direct burial for use in cathodic protection systems for pipelines, storage tanks, pilings, well casings, cables, marine crafts and other buried or water submerged metallic structures.
